I thought the room itself could have been better. The room seemed very dusty, and although I appreciate the attempt to shampoo the carpet, it probably should have been dry before we checked in. The bathroom floor also felt a little slimy, maybe from walking from the wet carpet onto the tile in the bathroom? For the money, it was a good deal but we weren't too happy with the cleanliness. I would have to say I "may" recommend this hotel to others, depending on what they are looking for. I also heard we were in the "older" part of the hotel so maybe the newer portion is better.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Bally's. My husband and I are return guests and have never been disappointed. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and the casino employees were fabulous. We typically play blackjack but wanted to try our luck at Craps this time. The "dealers" took us under their wings and taught us as we played. It was perfect. We will definitely be back! We are considering this a once a year adventure now.

This was the first time I've stayed at a high end hotel. I was expecting to have a classy room, especially for what I paid... The room was no bigger then the Howard Johnson we stayed at last time, but about 10 times the cost. We were unable to get a smoking room. We were misinformed of our view/window. We were told we had a city view, what we had was a view of a constuction site. We were told by whomever checked us in that we can open our window, the window was bolted shut. Over all I was not impressed with our stay. Next time I would not stay at Ballys/Claridge tower. I will just stick with a small hotel with the same quality room.

The hotel was very well kept and clean. One huge downfall was the long wait at check in and check out with only three or four clerks working the desk. With that said, the price was reasonable the parking was convenient and the casino was great with nice lounge bar and easily accessible to the beach, boardwalk and other casinos. We felt safe with plenty of security and staff available for questions. The room was very clean and plenty of toiletries were available. Didn't hit it big but had a great time.

The hotel was nice. It has a really cute bar right on the beach (it doesn't just sell alcohol, they had a decent menu also). I chose Bally's because it was cheapest, but I was happy with how close it was to shopping. My trip was primarily for shopping, walking the boardwalk and enjoying the beach. The hotel is right around the corning from the outlets. It was convenient. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you are going to Atlantic City and just want a clean place to stay, Bally's is definitely the right place!

The check in was fine. We got a great room in the Garden Terrace. It had a king sized bed and a large flat screen TV. The bathroom had a granite counter and a TV built right into the mirror! There was also a room safe and a small refrigerator. The Bikini Beach Bar was right in front and had a great 8 piece band everyday. It was so nice to go into the ocean and then sit and listen to the music and have a nice frozen drink.

I have enjoyed my stay the room and service was great I really like that my first time here I got a sweet and it was beautiful and romantic for me and my husband for out first stay in Atlantic city thank you so much for a great time and all your services you had given us I would recommend this hotel to everybody the room was more then I could talk about because when we got home I let everybody know how my stay was. The room was situated right next to the elevators.It was constantly noisy.Also,the walls were paper thin.It sounded like the people in the adjacent room were actually in our room.Upon leaving,it was almost impossible to get an elevator to take our luggage downstairs.(this was the Claridge hotel on the 14th floor).Never again!When we complained to the manager,he was only able to give us a forty dollar coupon for lunch because we didn't purchase th tickets through the hotel.

After I changed rooms to the Dennis Tower, I was satisfied. It was much cleaner and closer to the Boardwalk. Also, the Claridge was too far away from the Casino and the Boardwalk. Now that I've stayed there once, I know where to go next time. I thought it was over priced and I expected more for the money. When I checked for a casino online, it was the cheapest, but not the best. I booked it, but found out later from the front desk, because I booked online, I was given the Claridge Tower, but I wanted the Ballys.

We thought we had booked at Bally's and then ended up getting the "Claridge Tower" where the rooms were not as nice as we had expected. Also the Bally's pool with whirlpools that we had been looking forward to is actually an additional cost of $10/person. The smaller, less fancy Claridge pool is free. The staff at the front desk were very rude and did not make us feel like valued guests in any way. We had to switch rooms, as our first room had some spiders on the beds. We weren't given any kind of compensation for the inconvenience.

Bally's was a pleasant experience compared to some of my other stays at hotels in Atlantic City. I was happy to have a large, clean, comfortable room in the Claridge tower with a convenient refrigerator. The restaurants in Bally's also were good and although you need reservations for some they still sat our party within 30 minutes without a reservation. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, however, everyone I went with was 21-26 years old. If you're looking for a spot with a younger crowd, Bally's is not it but you will still have a great time.

I enjoyed the whole experience, Poker room was well and Professionally run. Meals were good, could have more dining choices for after hours. Smoking section was a bit limited, as to games available for players. We thought Bingo offered was for open access, and it turned out to be by invitation only, it was disappointing for my wife, that loves to play bingo. Valet parking and Bell service was top rate. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Beach was clean and access was easy.

We had a wonderful stay. Everyone was friendly, check-in was about 10 minutes. Our room was available early. It was clean and wonderful but the view wasn't great. Wild Wild West casino was our favorite. The buffet there was fantastic, a great value. The security presence was comforting and they were so friendly. The show "50 years of MOTOWN" was fun. Loved the coupon book upon signing up for the gold rewards card. We used many of them. Looking forward to returning soon and will definitely stay at Ballys.

I was very disappointed in the restaurants the cost and quality of the food. The fact that you have to pay to use the indoor pool was a shock. I've never been in any hotel where you have to pay to use the indoor pool. The room was not comfortable. A king size bed was wedged into the room and the cabinet with the tv was placed on the right hand side of the bed so you had to lie on your right side to watch tv or sit at the table across the room.

Arriving at the hotel was difficult with a long line to check in. There are different sections to the hotel as they have purchased adjacent properties and renamed them all Ballys. We got a room assignment in the Claridge (or something like that). This part of the hotel is very old. There were five elevators and yet we had long waits to get one. You need to be very fast to get to the elevator as the door doesn't remain open very long. The room was old and the bathroom was very small. The sheets were like sandpaper and the carpets were dirty. The casino bar was dirty as was the casino in general. In the smoking sections of the casino, there were cigarette butts that people just extinguished on the wood next to slot machines without even an ashtray! The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The "Ain't nothing like the real thing" Motown musical show was very good as was the Italian restaurant. There were all kinds of people in the casino. The beach bar is kind of nice if you like to hanging out, getting a drink and a snack. The rooms in the newer sections of the hotel may be better but we never got to see them. If you do not mind kind of dirty, dumpy casino with lots of action, then it is worth it. If you are looking for a more upscale, clean, facility - don't go there.
