The room that I was in didn't look anything like the pictures they posted online. It was very dirty--when I asked the front desk to send someone to my room for cleaning, the maid came and didn't really do any additional cleaning and instead told me that the vacuum she had brought up was broken. Aside from the dirty room, no complaints. The check-in /out staff were friendly. Casinos to me are the same everywhere so that really didn't have anything to do with my decision to stay.

It was a very disappointing experience from check in to check out.Was not informed we were going to Claridge Tower instead of Bally's Tower which I wanted.I asked for a non smoking area but our linen/room reeked w/smoke.I prefer for an ocean view & was given the back door view w/o even informing why I cannot get it.The place is too far from the restaurant & Bally's casino.The elevator wait was too long as we left,we have to ride up to go down.

The room was too dirty.The receptionist was too rude and urged me to leave the room earlier so that the housekeeper can start to clean the room earlier. The hotel man did not know where is "garden cafe" even though he pretended to know that and suggested us to go... The waitress of the Chinese noodle was too lazy to serve us. Anyway, everything was too poor for us to visit you again... Please improve your service first and invite us again....

On the whole I'd say that our stay at Bally's was enjoyable. I wasn't too happy with our room. Our windows obviously overlooked something not too pleasant because the windows were frosted glass. Next time we book into Bally's, and we will since it's so localized, we will insist on getting a room in the tower. To us, these rooms are roomier and have a nicer view.
The restaurants are GREAT, especially 6ix. Great selection of food and great service

I am a 50-year old Pennsylvania business owner who was merely looking for some well deserved R&R. With that being said, my stay was very enjoyable, relaxing, and pleasant. My room was kept very clean, and the bed was the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in while on vacation. I am a 300lb, 6'3" man which can sometimes make getting comfortable a problem, that was not the case on this trip. And although, I had vacationed at Atlantic City several times before, this was my very first stay at any hotel on the main strip, or boardwalk. My expectations were well exceeded in every way. All of my needs were met at every turn, the service, and the very friendly staff was more than I had expected. The fact is, I look forward to my return visits, which will most likely be every 3 to 4 weeks now.

I was there for 3 days and 2 nights. We didn't have any maid service.When I saw the maid she said she was way behind. She would get to my room when she got a chance. She never came back.Every time I stay at Ballys I'm put over at the Claridge.Is it because I'm not a high roller.If that is the case why keep sending me the offers.I could stay at Trumps but I like Ballys location.

Ballys is a very good hotel with perfect location, room was ready as soon as we got there. Front desk check in was quick, and easy.
Room was clean, liked little fridge-very convenient to store cold drinks.
Good idea would be to have fans in the bathroom, not just the red light.
Mountain Bar at Kate's parlor at Wild Wild West was great.
Avoid eating at Street Walk cafe-overpriced ($29 for two).Food was undercooked, did not look fresh (and this was the time when they just opened), service not as good also.We could not eat, just left hungry.
Find other places to eat even outside there are
a lot of nice places to eat, just don't go
to the Street Walk Cafe.

I was under the impression I would be staying in the Ballys hotel. Instead I was put in its side hotel, The Claridge. The whole building looked dingy and ignored. Also there was construction of a new hotel being done in the next lot directly outside my window. The first room they gave me was extremely dusty and the tub was clogged. I requested another room which they did give me but that room was also very dusty. We needed to call housekeeping to wipe all the furniture down and change the dusty sheets. And that was after I waited 5 hours for a room to be ready. Overall this hotel experience for the price I paid was very unsatisfying.

Location is central to several casinos, the Bikini Bar & beach. The restaurant 6ix is open 24 hours and has wide variety of good food. The staff is pleasant. My only suggestion is to supply the rooms with a full length mirror!!!!
Bally's rates are reasonable. You do not have a really long wait for the elevator. Most of the time you will be able to get a reservation at Bally's. Since first staying at Bally's, we have returned and will be returning throughout the summer.

The hotel was not very clean or updated. The smell of carpet freshener filled the air upon arrival. The front desk staff was less than friendly and the wait was long. Our room was big but the bathroom was tiny, old, and had mildew in the shower. The entire headboard wall of our bad abutted another room - in which there were noisy people early each morning. Room service trays were left in the common hallways between rooms all day. Other boardwalk hotels were much nicer.

Hotel was very dirty and disgusting. First after waiting an hour in line to check in they did not have a non smoking room for us and put us in a smoking room. The room was not clean and had cigarette butts in the ash trays and empty wrappers on the tables. The casino smelled of smoke and was not clean at all. Front desk representatives were not friendly at all and never said sorry for our unpleasant experience. We were very unhappy and will not stay at this hotel again.

I asked for a specific type of room and was not accommodated at all. I asked for a non smoking king bed room and was given a double bed smoking room. It was not a pleasurable stay at all. Luckily my girlfriend did not mind at all. The only reason I would stay again is because of previous visits where I was given what i specifically asked for. I doubt I will use this website again though for the inconvenience that I could have been caused.
