I asked for a specific type of room and was not accommodated at all. I asked for a non smoking king bed room and was given a double bed smoking room. It was not a pleasurable stay at all. Luckily my girlfriend did not mind at all. The only reason I would stay again is because of previous visits where I was given what i specifically asked for. I doubt I will use this website again though for the inconvenience that I could have been caused.

I enjoyed the hotel however, the procedure for changing rooms could be quicker. I requested a smoking room which wasn't ready until the next day around 4:30 when check out time is at 12pm. I had to continue coming back to the service desk to ask if the room was ready. I think I should have been notified when it was available. Overall, I rate the stay a 4. I recommend the twenties restaurant, the food is delicious!

I would recommend Bally's and would stay there again if we vacationed at Atlantic City in the future. The room was spacious and clean. Check in and check out was quick. We checked in at 9:00 am knowing that our room was probably not ready. The bell captain stored our luggage for us. Check out was via the TV. We did notice a long check in line later in the day, though. We liked that fact that most of the casino was non-smoking. Bally's is right in the center of the Boardwalk action, within walking distance (if you have good feet) of the other casinos, shop and restaurants. Won a few dollars, too!

Excellent service and location. Well worth the price! We stayed here because of the Wild Wild West Casino, but realized it was much more than that. The location on the boardwalk made it a quick walk to get to everywhere we wanted to go. The ocean view from the window of our room was spectacular. Unfortunately, when we were checking in the clerk had trouble finding our reservations. He said he did not have the room we had asked for in our computer reservations. We explained to him we should have the room we asked for a month ago. When he called over a Manager the situation was cleared up. Another problem was encountered on Tuesday. We left our room at approximately 9am and did not return until 4pm, and our room had not been cleaned. When I talked to Hotel Services they contacted Housekeeping and told them to rush clean the room. Approximately one half hour later I again spoke to Hotel Services and she(Kathy) told me the room had been cleaned. When we got up to our room, the cleaning had not been done. I went down to speak with Mr. John Kalaponis and he fixed the problem.

The bed did not have proper fitting sheets or a mattress pad, making it very, very uncomfortable. For some reason, Ballys chose to remodel all of the restaurants at once, except for Johnny Rockets and Pickles, so fine dining was out. I would not recommend the Wild West Buffet -- way overpriced.
Signage was poor and confusing (the restaurants signs said "temporarily unavailable," the same as th sign put out at the Sidewalk Cafe when it closed after lunch -- we only learned of the remodeling in a local weekly.)
Overall, I would say the place is not very "user friendly." Our check-in clerk was very good, and the room was beautiful. I'd go again if assured the bedding would fit the bed right and we could get a decent meal.

Overall the hotel was good, we had a problem at check-in, since i booked over the phone with a central booking agent the hotel did not have my reservation, had a bit of a headache but they found it. The room was very spacious but had no window i didn't like that.The service was good and staff very nice, next time i will call the hotel directly to book.The casino was great, and the restaurants were good. Would stay again.

I was very pleased with my stay at Ballys. Parking was a breeze and check in was quick and easy. I booked online and was afraid I would wouldn't get the room I requested for but the clerk was very nice and my room was just what I wanted. Arturo's restaurant was amazing. The food was excellent and well worth the money. The casino's were also very well kept and there were so many different places to play.

This is the second time my friends and I have stayed at your hotel. Whereas we find the rooms to be the cleanest that we have stayed at, there were some concerns. The check in process is extremely long compared to other places we have stayed. Our reservations have been made online, not directly with the hotel. Both times, we have requested a room with two beds, smoking. Both times, we have been put into non smoking rooms. We have also had to call to the front desk because our TV remote did not have batteries in it. Other than those minor discrepancies, we have enjoyed our stay. We are avid poker players so that is where we spend 98% of our time. The poker room has always been nice, the staff and dealers courteous. The table service is horrendous. It was literally 30-40 minutes until your drink arrived. There has always only been 1 or 2 servers for the entire room. Need to have more / better service available to those of us who spend 6-10 hours at a time playing poker.
Love the new promotion with the discounted room for playing 5 hours of poker. Good deal!!

The room that we stayed in was not worth the $800 we spent for the two nights. The carpets looked as if they had not been cleaned in a few years, the tub in the shower did not drain well and it smelled like people were smoking on our "non-smoking" floor. Perhaps this was a one time occurrence, but I would think that a multi-million dollar casino would be on top of the conditions of their rooms. We stayed at Ballys Park Place and The Wild Wild West Casinos because we like the atmosphere of the casinos; however, the room was a complete disappointment.

I thought that the room would have been more lavish for the price. It was clean, but there was no hot tub and I went for a romantic getaway thank goodness I we were able to create our own romantic atmosphere. I really do not think I would stay at Bally's again. Because I'm not a regular gambler at Atlantic City and did not have any comp points I believe they put us in the room they did.

No food after 10pm. resorted to room service which was expensive. Service was slow it took over an hour to come to the room. Casino was good won some money. Staff workers were friendly and extremely helpful. Not overly crowded. Only complaint was that all restaurants were closed and we walked for miles in circles to get to another place. Each restaurant told you to go to another. Rooms were clean. Buffet was excellent. Highly recommend the hotel to others. Will return for another visit.

Check in was very slow. There was not enough help. I requested on king bed, but they only had two full beds available. Besides that, everything was great. The room was neat and clean. Wild Wild West Casino is better than the regular Ballys Casino, but since they are right next door you can go to both. The casino is right on the boardwalk too and that was nice for the next day. It's right next to the new pier. Good hotel, I would go back.
