The room was too dirty.The receptionist was too rude and urged me to leave the room earlier so that the housekeeper can start to clean the room earlier. The hotel man did not know where is "garden cafe" even though he pretended to know that and suggested us to go... The waitress of the Chinese noodle was too lazy to serve us. Anyway, everything was too poor for us to visit you again... Please improve your service first and invite us again....

I was under the impression I would be staying in the Ballys hotel. Instead I was put in its side hotel, The Claridge. The whole building looked dingy and ignored. Also there was construction of a new hotel being done in the next lot directly outside my window. The first room they gave me was extremely dusty and the tub was clogged. I requested another room which they did give me but that room was also very dusty. We needed to call housekeeping to wipe all the furniture down and change the dusty sheets. And that was after I waited 5 hours for a room to be ready. Overall this hotel experience for the price I paid was very unsatisfying.

The hotel was not very clean or updated. The smell of carpet freshener filled the air upon arrival. The front desk staff was less than friendly and the wait was long. Our room was big but the bathroom was tiny, old, and had mildew in the shower. The entire headboard wall of our bad abutted another room - in which there were noisy people early each morning. Room service trays were left in the common hallways between rooms all day. Other boardwalk hotels were much nicer.

Hotel was very dirty and disgusting. First after waiting an hour in line to check in they did not have a non smoking room for us and put us in a smoking room. The room was not clean and had cigarette butts in the ash trays and empty wrappers on the tables. The casino smelled of smoke and was not clean at all. Front desk representatives were not friendly at all and never said sorry for our unpleasant experience. We were very unhappy and will not stay at this hotel again.

The room that we stayed in was not worth the $800 we spent for the two nights. The carpets looked as if they had not been cleaned in a few years, the tub in the shower did not drain well and it smelled like people were smoking on our "non-smoking" floor. Perhaps this was a one time occurrence, but I would think that a multi-million dollar casino would be on top of the conditions of their rooms. We stayed at Ballys Park Place and The Wild Wild West Casinos because we like the atmosphere of the casinos; however, the room was a complete disappointment.

Checked in at 4:30pm and took our bags to a dirty room that had not been serviced from the previous guest. The hospitality is not up to par with other casinos, even in the Harrah's network. The friendliness of the employees on the casino floor made the trip tolerable but still unlikely that I will stay here again, given other options. I don't understand the inconsistencies between hotels in the same family and must say that after visiting many others, this one currently ranks at the bottom.

I chose Bally's to Stay on New Year's Eve, but
The Econo Lodge is probably a lot nicer than this hotel, and a lot cheaper! My room was located in the Claridge Tower. The room was tiny and old. Bed was very uncomfortable and no blankets to be found. The only thing on the bed were the sheets. Bathroom was very old and extremely small. I am a petite woman and I still had problems fitting in the bathroom! The heat was not working in the room on a night that was 30 degrees. The TV was so old that I could not even get a good picture. Not to mention its location in the room, by a window and hard to watch from the bed. Hotel elevators took forever to come to the floor and most of them did not accept your room key to have the elevator operate from floor to floor. Having to wait 1/2 hour to get on an elevator is ridiculous. I would only suggest this hotel if you are desperate!

The Ballys hotel stay was horrible. The room was way too small and not very modern. The view was very horrible when i looked out the hotel all i could see was a broken down building. When we asked to be move to a better room with a view we were told there was none available. That was my first stay at Ballys and it is gonna be my last. The rooms are not what you see online. I wish you all luck on your stay.

I was unhappy with this hotel. It was not clean. I had to switch rooms 2x before I got a semi-clean room. This hotel was bought by Bally's and is not apart of them but you are not told this on the computer. It pays to call the hotel and not us the internet. They didn't always tell you everything. I wanted a room at Bally's and instead got a room at the Claridge which is not owned by Bally's for over $300.00

It was hard to find our room in the old Claridge Hotel. Therefore we did not stay at "Bally's" and paid for Bally's. It took forever to get our room; Baggage check was confusing; the lobby is a zoo!
Bagel cafe has lines a mile long; pool was overcrowded so no one else was allowed in and the other pool was closed; The pool personnel were rude.
Our room was very small and very old with tiny windows. Next time we'll go back to a Trump property.

After I changed rooms to the Dennis Tower, I was satisfied. It was much cleaner and closer to the Boardwalk. Also, the Claridge was too far away from the Casino and the Boardwalk. Now that I've stayed there once, I know where to go next time. I thought it was over priced and I expected more for the money. When I checked for a casino online, it was the cheapest, but not the best. I booked it, but found out later from the front desk, because I booked online, I was given the Claridge Tower, but I wanted the Ballys.

I was very disappointed in the restaurants the cost and quality of the food. The fact that you have to pay to use the indoor pool was a shock. I've never been in any hotel where you have to pay to use the indoor pool. The room was not comfortable. A king size bed was wedged into the room and the cabinet with the tv was placed on the right hand side of the bed so you had to lie on your right side to watch tv or sit at the table across the room.

We were left dirty towels by housekeeping, our bags never arrived, we had to go to the bell desk and get them ourselves in their back room, could not call restaurants extension, no one would pick up,no one would pick up at the front desk. Had to call an outside line to get anyone on the phone. No fitted sheet on the bed, molding hanging off in the room, tub was stained. Very dssapointed, tried to get something for our horrible stay, hotel apologized and asked us to stay again. No Way

I booked at Bally's and was put in the Claridge. I realize,now, they are merged, however, I wanted to stay in the Bally's wing, but was not given an option. The person at check in was not very friendly. He did not explain that we would be in the Claridge, did not offer us direction as to how to get to our room, and seemed anxious for me to just get away from the counter. Thinking my room was in Bally's as I had booked, I spent 10 minutes trying to find the elevator to get to my room. After asking a security guard, I was told I was in the Claridge. Bally's/Claridge did not have the best service I have encountered, from the front desk to the hosts and servers in the restaurant. After 11pm, most restaurants were closed other than the "coffee shop" on the 6th floor. After finding it, we stood in line with about 8 other people while the hostess had her back turned to us erasing and re-writing on the specials board behind her podium. She ignored everyone in line, never saying hello, I'll be right with you etc... After nearly 10 minutes of being ignored, we left and went to another hotel/casino, and spent most of the rest of our stay at competing hotels/casinos that all seemed to appreciate us visiting them more than they did at Bally's/Claridge. The only plus was the walkway to get to Ceasars!

Im really disappointed with this hotel. I was actually having second thoughts on booking between Ballys or Ceasars I guess I made the wrong choice. The spa concierge doesn't even know know how to talk in a courteous way with their guest even your GSA's. I cant spend another dime in your hotel this will be the last time. If Im your secret shopper you will lose all your credibility. And I will absolutely not recommend your hotel. And what kind of hotel does not provide dental kit????? and asks your guest to purchase it from your gift shop???? That is so Ghetto!!!
