We stayed in the Claridge section and it was a long walk to the main casino. I wasn't real impressed with the restaurants. The Bistro was good, but when we went to eat one evening it was closed and I didn't see any signs telling us that. Our stay was very good and we had a great time. I will remember next time to ask for a room closer to main casino. Nice nickel poker machines. Loved them.

Your site said we'd be placed in one of the three towers, but we never expected to be placed in the lowest, dirtiest, oldest building in AC. We've been here before and never have we slept in as old a hotel as this. It dated of 1920, absolutely no renovations, stained carpets, etc.
We asked to be changed tower to be told we had to pay for an upgrade,and told our standards were too high. Do Not Stay!!!!!!!!!

We have been rewards card holder for years and until now have been completely satisfied. We recently stayed in the Claridge side of Bally's. We had two rooms. The rooms were run down and dirty. The carpets were stained, the bathrooms were moldy, rooms were very dusty and they smelled. One room had water all over the bathroom floor. We called to see if we could move to a different room, they told us out right "NO". They sent housekeeping up without us knowing. When she was done, the room had a strong smell of deodorize. The hotel needs to be updated. We paid $565.00 for two nights. This was way too much to spend on two rooms of this quality. Very disappointed!!!

This hotel was cheesy. The room smelled of smoke and the bed was small. I would recommend this hotel if you had no other choice and you needed a place to crash for the night. My girlfriend and I were looking for a romantic get away from the hustle and bustle of new york city and thought we would find this in Atlantic city at Ballys but we were wrong. The room smelled of smoke, and this would have been ok if we wanted a smoking room but we requested a non- smoking room with a king size but of course this was not the case.

We booked a deluxe room. They gave us a standard room. Then they moved us to a room they claim to be deluxe which was 100 % worse. VIEWS TO A DIRTY PARKING GARAGE - TINY WINDOW - AWFUL.
BESIDES, WHO WANTS TO GO TO A CASINO TO GET MOVED AROUND? We also believe we have been lied to. When we requested our standard room back they told us every single room in that hotel was booked .... on a Sunday night with a snow storm on the way. ha ha ha. I don't think even my grandmother would buy that bold of a lie.

This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. We requested a non-smoking room, however the entire hotel (Claridge) smelled like stale cigarette smoke. We tried to change our room to the tower but were told that was impossible because we didn't book directly with Ballys. The worse experience was that when we were coming home that evening with our 11 year old granddaughter and tried to enter through the hotel entrance there was a man standing there urinating on the elevator. Employees were rude and dismissive when we asked for help-directions etc.

This was the absolute worst stay of my life. The entire trip was a mess from start to finish. First of all, we were not told when making reservations that rooms would be given out first come first serve, so even though we requested a king sized bed, we were not given one. The room had two full sized beds, not two queen sized beds and so my boyfriend and I who were on vacation together could not even stay in the same bed! We were told to call back the next morning at 10:00 to see if we could move rooms to one with a king bed. When we called, we were told that there were no king beds available. When I got angry, magically a room with a king bed became available. I was told the room would be held for me and to come to the desk at 2:00 that afternoon. When I called the desk at 2:00 just to double check that the room was ready, I was told the room would not be available until 4:00. We finally switched our room at 4:00 and voiced our complaints to the manager. We also explained to her that we were very upset that the only Italian restaurant in the hotel was closed on a Friday night (one of the busiest nights for casinos). She found us an Italian restaurant in a different hotel for the night and made reservations for us. She also gave us a $50 food comp. Having already made dinner reservations, we decided to use the food comp the next day. The line for the breakfast buffet was way too long for us to wait on and since we were leaving that evening, we decided to save the food comp for lunch. When discussing our dining options, we glanced at the food comp only to notice that it was only good for the day before! So the fact that the manager gave us the food comp was basically a blow off since she knew we were already dining at a different hotel that night, where we could not use the food comp. This was the worst stay ever and although I might return to Atlantic City, it would take a lot of convincing to get me to return to Bally's.

This hotel was very poor. I've stayed at a Days and Ramada Inn that was better and showed better caring towards the needs of the customers. The room was awful and had a smell, very noisy kids running up and down the floor slamming the doors. Hotel security not very helpful. Housekeeping was very bad very unsanitary room. Would never stay here again!! The front desk was very unapproachable and had attitudes when you asked questions or voiced concerns. The room contained nothing but a soap dish everything else like a shower cap and soap you had to call downstairs for.

Room delivered w/bathroom not cleaned. The proximity from parking garage to"Claridge Tower" is ridiculous. A total "hike" w/luggage.

Thought we were staying at Ballys.

We paid for room (no freebies)& we go to A.C. at least 3'x year,gamble at Bally's at ever visit.

No Keno room-big disappoint.

Boardwalk Cafe closing a big mistake.Ate there 2'x but were told that it was closing on our last day. The wait staff was great!

We were originally put up in a different hotel that was booked through you we were in the Claridge which was not mentioned at all. We had to pay an extra 100 dollars per night to move to Ballys where the rooms were better but not best. The staff was rude and garbage was in our bathroom when the staff had just cleaned it and when I asked her to empty the garbage she was rude and indignant. The supervisors were also rude

Having stayed at Ballys before, I expected a level of accommodations comparable with previous visits. It is dishonest to offer rooms in the Claridge as Ballys since the level of accommodations are not comparable and expecting Ballys level I was extremely disappointed. I will not stay at this hotel again and will recommend anyone I know planning to visit AC to stay elsewhere. Ballys explanation was that the booking came through a 3rd party. I believe that it is also dishonest for Ballys management to allow a 3rd party to offer rooms as Bally's that fall so far below the expected Ballys standard.

Absolutely not�! I got to the hotel only to find out there was no more parking spots left in the parking garage. I had to shimmy my car sideways on the side driveway risking damage to it. I made my way into the casino/hotel only to stand in line for 30minutes to check in� one worker for a very long line. The receptionist was friendly I will say. I made my way to the elevator where I had to wait 20minutes for it to make its way down to the lobby to pick me up. To Slow!! I made it to the 10th floor anxious to relax� only to find the cleaning lady still cleaning my room. After waiting 15mins for her to finish I could finally relax. The room was small but fair� the coffee maker was a joke. The bathroom was old and somewhat clean but the toilet seat was broken. Sleeping was very bad� I could hear my neighbors all night and the AC was on/off all night.. Very annoying! Check-out was a pain� The TV checkout did not work it showed a windows OS computer error message asking to reboot! From the 10th floor I pushed the elevator button and waited 20 minutes it never came� tired me had to walk down 8 flights of stairs. There was an express checkout but I really wanted to tell the receptionist all my problems. The line was 30 people deep so I never did. Vegas� parking is free� here it�5$ a night. I would never stay here again unless I paid under 100 dollars a night for the room. Sorry.

Not very happy with size of room. We had a port-a-crib and a young child with us and barely had room to move around. The other rooms I booked were much bigger and had an ocean view. Sheets on one bed were not clean, I broke out in hives and housekeeping did not take bar glasses out of room for two days, even when they cleaned room. Rooms were much older and not well maintained in Claridge Tower. Very disappointed with our stay.

Worst treatment ever. Staff very mean and unfriendly.Having staff that can speak English would be a big help.Not having to stand in check in lines for an hour would also be nice.Total rewards not worth the hour and half wait to sign up.Came to play slots,what a joke very one sided. Better off to go to Charlestown WV. Atlantic City is a complete waste of time and money.If you are expecting service helpful,kind staff and a fair chance look somewhere else
