We enjoyed our stay. Liked the location. One thing we didn't like was we reserved a smoking with king and got smoking with queen Murphy bed. It's first come first served. The casino was great. We could have won more, but it was fun. The people were really nice and polite. The security of the hotel was nice. We will definitely go back again. My sister and I might go in May when she visits. It's about a 7 hour drive. Not too bad. Now that I've been I can't wait to go back!

We had a very comfortable king size bed. In room fridge was a surprise. The room was very spacious and a nice view of the ocean for a non oceanfront room. We liked the fact that we had access to many casinos without having to exit the building. The walkways are great especially in the cold weather. We had a chance to visit all the casinos. We even got a total rewards card. The parking attendant was especially nice when letting us leave one lot and park in a closer lot to our room. I have already referred this website to friends and family.

This was the second time we have stayed at Ballys and the hotel was great. It was clean and had good service. The casino was big and it was cool that it is connected to other casinos (Wild West and Caesar's). When we went there happened to be a snow storm, so we did not need to go outside which was good. Hotel was equipped to handle people with disabilities. Wild West had an awesome all day happy hour!! The table minimums were low for a Saturday night which was a plus.

I enjoyed Bally's very much and the 24 hour happy hour at Wild Wild West is great. If you're looking for a younger crowd with clubs and bars you might want to consider Taj Mahal, Showboat or Borgata. The rooms were dark, but I only used it to sleep and shower up. The casino offers all of the games and is just a quick elevator ride away. Whats cool about this place is that its connected to Caesar's...too bad I found that out 3 hours before I left. All in all Bally's is a classy place to gamble and stay.

The Claridge hotel in its self wasn't bad. I just wasn't impressed by the room. I did love the ocean view. They did give me that as I requested. When we got to the room the maid had left her stuff in the room so she still need to come back and clean. I believed she rushed. So I don't think it was as clean as it should have been. There was hair in the bath tub. The front desk was very pleasant.

By no means an awful place for vacation. I feel my problems may have been a fluke but since it is the only time I stayed at Bally's it is all that I have to go by. My complaints: 1. They include a nice coupon for one of their restaurants when you make a reservation. The coupon they sent me had an expiration date on it of 12/31/09. My reservation was in January 2010. I tried to get some help online but their online help section was not accessible. 2. Requested a single bed in my preferences, got double beds. Partially my fault as I got there kinda late (8 pm) but still a bit upsetting. 3. The first 3 people I asked on their staff for directions on how to get back to our room at the end of the night sent us to the wrong place. I was sent to an elevator that was closed, the "wrong elevators" for my floor, and then back to the closed elevators. Would not have been a problem at all as they weren't that far apart but I was on crutches at the time and by the end of the night I was exhausted.
I am sure that there are many worse places to stay, these were just my first impressions so I wanted to share. I have not read the other reviews but if no one else had any problems this may have just been an off night for some of the staff. Casino that is attached to the hotel is excellent. Hotel is centrally located with easy access to more things than you can do in one night.

The room was gross. Would not stay here again - not even if the room was free. I was buried down some corridor in a tiny room with a tiny bathroom. For sure would not recommend to anyone I know. The next time I go to AC - it will be in a different casino. From my understanding - this hotel is a knockdown job and will not be around much longer. I love AC, but the Claridge hotel will not see my business again.

The staff at the hotel were very courteous. They seemed to be concerned about my needs during my stay. I wasn't very happy with the service I used to do booking. Their staff were rude. The rooms were clean and spacious. There was plenty of linen. The casino staff were very friendly too. I would definitely go back with my spouse. It was a nice getaway. Room service was prompt and the food was hot. The television could use some more channels.

Wow! Got a great rate on standard room from your website then at checkout we won Ballys Big Break. We won a HUGE suite (2 rooms connected) overlooking ocean and comped $250 in food for the trip. We ate great at the buffets for dinner and brunch delicious! We went to pool with kids they had a great time, too! They do this every Friday and Saturday to lucky people checking in. Who knows it may be you next time!

Decided on a whim to drive down to AC. Went on line and found this web site, it was very easy to use and gave a good description of the hotels available. Note this was only a few hours before I decided to leave. When we arrived check in was a breeze and the woman that checked us in was extremely friendly and courteous. I certainly would use this site and visit Ballys again, the location is great because it is near the new shops.

The room is too small & crowded, the hallway too narrow, and you can hear what the people in the other room is doing, you can also smell the cleaning fluids every time the housekeeper (Not his/her fault) cleans up the next room due to the connecting (locked) door. Over-all, we just tried it out as a "new experience", pretty much OK, but not quite to our standards. The staff are very helpful and always ready with a smile, that's the plus, the service.

We didn't know that Claridge was part of Bally's. I can accept that Claridge is old, but it needs lots of TLC: upgrade air filtration; even though we were on a no smoking floor, I could pick out the rooms of smokers. Not to mention the drifting smoke in the Claridge casino. The hotel needs new windows; we were on the 11th floor but could still hear lots of traffic noise. We also heard a lot of the conversations from the hallway and room next door. The room was clean, but the hallway was dirty; it wasn't cleaned during our entire stay. There was a glass outside our door when we first got there, and was still there when we checked out, along with a few others that accumulated during the weekend. The bottom sheets on the beds did not stay tucked in, and bunched up underneath you. One of the beds didn't even have a mattress pad.
The employees were very friendly. If we do stay at Bally's again, I'll make sure we stay in one of the Bally towers and not the Claridge. Although we liked The Ridge. It was a little more personal than the other, larger casino.

The hotel was great. The service was fantastic. The employees were nice. All in all a wonderful experience. The only complaint I have is the pool was not available for use the entire time of my stay, so I did not get to use the facilities. I would use this hotel again in the future. Not a great place to take children on a vacation, but worth the money on a weekend getaway for a couple. I had a great stay!

Our room was wonderful and large. Very nicely decorated. We had an oceanfront view. How nice! I really love getting up in the morning and going for a walk or run on the boardwalk. Even though it was only 20 degrees, we still took our walk. There were other nuts out there too. The bathroom was a little cramped but worked. Having a coffee maker in the room was also a nice touch. What a deal we got with oceanfront lodging. Would stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a beautiful ocean view. After reading the other very negative reviews, I was a bit skeptical. Once I arrived I felt that those individuals must be divas with extremely high standards. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated that we didn't have to leave the building for food and entertainment if we didn't want to. The only negative was being charged $5 to get my car because I "lost" the tag that the valet never gave me.
