Checked in at 4:30pm and took our bags to a dirty room that had not been serviced from the previous guest. The hospitality is not up to par with other casinos, even in the Harrah's network. The friendliness of the employees on the casino floor made the trip tolerable but still unlikely that I will stay here again, given other options. I don't understand the inconsistencies between hotels in the same family and must say that after visiting many others, this one currently ranks at the bottom.

Over all appearance was good,people very pleasant,room clean. Had hard time with the food because the 6th floor for the food was being worked on so couldn't get a good dinner went to another hotel for food. Need more table games open couldn't get to a table to play people very pushy. I would come back to stay nice room. Husband liked his stay for his 50th birthday said he really had a good time and glad I picked Bally"s.

The Bally's Hotel and Casino was a great experience. It was a first time for my girlfriend and I to gamble and I think we learned a lot with our stay at Bally's. The customer service and dealers were very informative on games and how to play, which made my first time that much easier to enjoy. I will come back to stay at Bally's just for customer service and dealers who work there. It was a great first experience, and I hope to have many more like the one I had for that weekend.

The hotel was okay, I have been in other rooms in the hotel that were nicer than the one I was in this time. I think it just needs to be updated. There was an odor to the room, like a dog odor. The bathtub was stained with soap scum and there was a black stain on the top of the tub. I would stay there again only if I inspected the room prior to staying, we didn't go to the room for about 5 hrs. after checking in, I felt it was too long after check in to see if we could have a different room.

This was a spontaneous decision to go to AC for a few days. It had been several years since we had been there. I am amazed at the positive changes. We already had plans to go there in June and I can only hope the boardwalk is cleaned up by then. I know it's winter but...I was very pleased with our stay at Ballys having stayed there before. They need to do some more renovations on the Claridge part of their hotel where we stayed this time. It's just very old and the rooms aren't as nice. The area behind the strip is wonderful now with all the new restaurants and shops. It's nice having that since you do need a break from gambling. Their price for their room on New Years was outrageous but so are most hotels for that night. Overall, it was a wonderful and festive mini vacation.

I was greatly impressed with security's response time and help locating our property that was accidentally left in an elevator.
The staff members who found our item in the elevator were very responsible in immediately turning in our property to lost and found. So quickly in fact, it was in the security room literally before we could get the same elevator to open on our floor.
Very helpful and very kind. Made our day.
I was also surprised how quiet the guest floors were,...even with all the people staying it was as if we were at home.

I chose Bally's to Stay on New Year's Eve, but
The Econo Lodge is probably a lot nicer than this hotel, and a lot cheaper! My room was located in the Claridge Tower. The room was tiny and old. Bed was very uncomfortable and no blankets to be found. The only thing on the bed were the sheets. Bathroom was very old and extremely small. I am a petite woman and I still had problems fitting in the bathroom! The heat was not working in the room on a night that was 30 degrees. The TV was so old that I could not even get a good picture. Not to mention its location in the room, by a window and hard to watch from the bed. Hotel elevators took forever to come to the floor and most of them did not accept your room key to have the elevator operate from floor to floor. Having to wait 1/2 hour to get on an elevator is ridiculous. I would only suggest this hotel if you are desperate!

We liked Bally's because of it was connected to the other casinos which made it easy for us to get around. We also really liked Pennyville.

The restaurants were disappointing because they closed very early (around 9PM). If the casinos are open twenty-four hours, there needs to be at least one restaurant that is open twenty-four hours, or at least until midnight. Some of the food wasn't even that good, even though it was very expensive, but we highly recommend the Virginia City Buffet. They were pricey, but worth it. The food was amazing.

The hotel room was nice, but we didn't like that the sheets kept coming off the bed. In addition, the shower head didn't spray well and made a strange noise.

The hotel couldn't find one of my two reservations. They made me pay for the second room again even though it was prepaid. I had to call central reservations afterwards and they located the second reservation and said I would be credited. I'll have to wait for my credit card statement before I can confirm that it's taken care of. What a pain!!
The non-smoking room smelled like a smoking room. They did clean the air for us but that only lasted afew hours and the room smelled again.
When I made the reservation I made it for Bally but we ended up at Claridge. The front desk informed me that I couldn't have a room at the Bally towers because the rate would be higher. What a scam! They shouldn't advertise Bally when they put you at Claridge. I'll know better next time.
My experience at the front desk was extremely unpleasant and stressful. I felt like a sitting duck and had to do what they say or we'll be out of a place to stay. While they were locating my reservations,which took forever, they threaten to tow my car away. Explain to me how a person can check in fast when the front desk is so incompetent.

My stay was great although I thought We were staying in Bally's because thats where my reservations were for but the Claridge was just fine the staff was nice and offered directions every time we needed them the room was clean and comfortable and was very quiet I would definitely book a room on this website again there were no complications everything went smoothly.
We had a great time the food was wonderful the location was also a convenience right in the middle of the boardwalk.

This was a great hotel located conveniently on the beach and also centrally located on the Boardwalk. There were 7 restaurants in just this one alone. It was also connected to 4 other casinos, so there was no need to walk outside if not desired. It also had a shopping Mall with additional restaurants and shops, also accessible without having to go outside. My only complaint with this hotel is that we requested a smoking hotel room and there was none available when we checked in.

The caliber of guests,and staff was lower than I expected. The dealers were often slow at the ability to count and security did not do a good job of keeping rif raf out. Street people were always begging for money and the class of people was way below what I expected. Ballys in Las Vegas is much nicer. If I ever returned to Atlantic City (debatable) I would stay in a higher class hotel. For the same amount of money you can go to Las Vegas and have a class act.

The Ballys hotel stay was horrible. The room was way too small and not very modern. The view was very horrible when i looked out the hotel all i could see was a broken down building. When we asked to be move to a better room with a view we were told there was none available. That was my first stay at Ballys and it is gonna be my last. The rooms are not what you see online. I wish you all luck on your stay.

Compared to many hotels I have stayed in, this has been one of the best places to stay. The hotel was very clean, the entire staff was friendly. Everything I needed was right there in the hotel for us. The bed was very comfortable, actually more comfortable than my bed at home. Food and drinks were reasonably priced. I really appreciated the non smoking areas of the casino. I would definitely come back to this hotel in the future and recommend it to others.

Overall my stay at Bally's was nice. Even though it took a long time to get my bags up to my room. I didn't get the room that I wanted. I wanted a smoking room with a kings size bed and they told me they didn't have any available. I requested this room weeks in advance and they didn't have any available. I wanted to know why do I even bother requesting a room that I wanted and don't even get it. The room was smaller than I would have liked.
