We enjoyed our weekend with family(grandchild) in adjoining room.The restaurants were child friendly with good food for the money.The halls were quiet at night and conducive to sleeping. There was lots of activity both in the hotel and on the beach to keep our young grandchild happy. There ,also was entertainment for his parents while we babysat in our comfortable adjoining rooms!!The outdoor shopping kiosks were interesting and has good buys. Roaming thru made a good walk with lots of distraction for our young man.We also enjoyed all of the shops in the casino. There is so much variety in all the adjoining gambling facilities.We never lacked for a place to gamble in comfort.We have always enjoyed walking the boardwalk over 70 years since our chidhood. It is nice to see that the casinos are trying to upgrade parts of the walk.
We founs the hotel to be very clean. All the publis bathrooms were well cared for and clean. Our rooms were cleaned and beds made up on a timely basis. The employees were helpful and courteous. I particularly apprciated being escorted back to the correct tower when I became confused and turned around. Instead of just telling me the gentleman actually took me to where I needed to be!!! All in all our stay was a delight!

We only stayed for one night. Room was adequate - not superb, especially for the exorbant price that we paid, at least we felt it was. My spouse and I went to AC with my brother and his finace and split the room and still it cost $125 each couple - for only a full size bed. The eateries were good - we ate at the little bagel place for breakfast and then at the dinner for a late night snack. It is difficult to find the two distinct casinos; had to ask a couple of times before we could get adequate directions. Parking was also very time-consuming - took us 30 minutes to find a place in the parking garage and we got the very last spot. We ended up going to AC on the very weekend that it opended back up after being shut-down by the state of New jersery for failing to pass the budget. The hotel is in close proximy to other casinos - which is nice for a change of scenery, and it does appear to be the cheapest within that block of casinos. One of the nicest things was the service provided from the front desk - that were extrememly friendly and courteous; as well as fast and efficient.

Bally's was fine, however the rooms could use a little "updating"...especially the bathrooms. Tile was coming off. If i recall correctly, there was no ceiling fan in the bathroom either. I don't recall any type of entertainment there the days I stayed. The location was very good though.....right in the center of boardwalk.
For my first time in Atlantic City, it was a fun get-away.

The service (especially from the guards) was exceptional. I work in a customer service environment and truly understand how challenging it is to find people that will deliver that type of service for you. The room that I stayed in did not have a desk as I was staying at the hotel attending a regional conference meeting. I was a bit disappointed that I was not able to receive a printed bill as I would with any other hotel at the conclusion of my stay. I need these bills immediately as I have to submit theses types of receipts to our corporate expense department at the conclusion of the week thus causing a HUGE inconvenience. Overall, I was pleased with the hotel and would recommend this hotel to any person looking to visit the area.

I stayed at the Wild West for its mid boardwalk loction. I was able to visit other casinos without using public transportation or my vehicle. The new pier was a short walk on the boards. Upon arrival the check in staff was very knowledgeable and professionl. The bell captain was very friendly and took pleasure in handling our luggage. The hotels directional signs were very visable and pointed us directly to our destination. When we arrived back to get the keys to our room everything went very smoothly. It was a pleasant suprise that our rooms had ocean views and were very clean. The refrigerator and safe were nice conveniences. Elevators were fast and convenient. Didn't get to experience the pool because the casinos were just too much fun. I can't wait to return and recoup some of my losses!

I enjoyed my stay at Ballys, although I would have stayed longer but the price of the room was a little steep for me. The way the hotel/casino was set up was great. I loved the fact that I could go to a number of different casinos without walking outside, that helps out a lot in the winter time. It did seem like at times, it took a little while for a waitress to come along to order a drink. It would also help to have a few more tables with five dollar and ten dollar minimums. Overall, it was a fun trip.

The rooms were neat, clean and comfortable. Location on the boradwalk is great! Casino was fun! Had a great time. Check-in took a while, but the desk staff were friendly and helpful! The bell staff were friendly. Room service order was wrong, delivery person did not understand our request to the error corrected.( appeared limited English proficiency). When we tried to explain, he just kept asking us to sign receipt for the order. Although the error was small (iced tea sent instead of hot tea), it was frustrating. I didn't call to have corrected because of the time factor...by the time the hot tea would be delivered it probably would have been another 45 minutes. On postive side, although there was an error in our reservation ( we had confirmation of two rooms, one handicap accessible), only one was reserved at Bally's, the front desk supervisor (Cathy?) was very helpful in resolving.

The hotel was great and we had a fantastic time. The only bad thing was the line at the check in, it must have taken us 30-40 min to get checked in. I thought that was a little bit crazy. We had a ball at the casino and met some great people. We loved the Blue martini and the live bands that played. The wild wild west Casino was also a lot of fun, we both like country music so we enjoyed being there as well. We are planning on going again when we get some more money saved up. We are going to recomend Bally's to other people we know as well!

I enjoyed my stay there. I went for my birthday and I really had a good time. I felt that the price was very reasonable and you were able to access everything because of the location. The only suggestion that I would make is that there would be more employees at check-in. The staff was very nice. I also liked that there were different floors. I also loved that you didn't have to go outside because there were floors to play, lay and eat. I also enjoyed the different variety of slot machines that were there. I also would like to say that for those people who are there to drink, there are many waitresses and they are quick and on point. So all in all if you are going to AC I would really recommend Bally's.

Everybody is nice for help we are enjoyed very well I will recommand too many friends to bally's the only thing we lost when we play nobody makes money it is a very nice trip and my staying was too short next time I will stay for one week .congratulations! it is a great business have a trip to atlantic city and it is very funny and life looks very nice when we are inside everywhere is clean excellent job i feel like to stay in and come back again and again.In my next three weeks vacations one week for atlantic city

Ballys was a great stay for the money I spent. It was a wonderful weekday get away for by friends and I. It is also located near other casinos so we were not confined to Ballys Casino the entire night. In addition, the shopping outlets are located within a couple of blocks of Ballys. All of the employees from the front desk to the pit bosses to the blackjack dealers were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and had all of the necessary amentities. The next time I visit Atlantic City I will be staying at Bally's, that is a guarantee!

Im really disappointed with this hotel. I was actually having second thoughts on booking between Ballys or Ceasars I guess I made the wrong choice. The spa concierge doesn't even know know how to talk in a courteous way with their guest even your GSA's. I cant spend another dime in your hotel this will be the last time. If Im your secret shopper you will lose all your credibility. And I will absolutely not recommend your hotel. And what kind of hotel does not provide dental kit????? and asks your guest to purchase it from your gift shop???? That is so Ghetto!!!

The problem was, I wasn't put in the Bally's tower rooms -- I was in the "Claridge" which is run by Bally's.
I'm assuming the Bally's rooms would've been just fine, but the room I was in at the Claridge was less than desirable. Here were some of the problems:
1. The thermostat switch for Heat/Cool was broken off and I had to take the cover off just to set the temperature.
2. The built in wall hair dryer wouldn't stay latched and was wedged in place with a piece of cardboard -- if you touched it at all it would fall off and the hair dryer would turn on -- very dangerous since I was gone most of the day and it could've fallen off and turned on while I wasn't there. I called in the problem and the said they would have some come and fix it right away -- never happened.
3. I was supposed to be in a smoking room (as per my intenerary) and they originally put me in a non-smoking room and it took over an hour for them to get me into a smoking room -- bad service.
4. The tissue box was very damaged and the room appearance seemed generally under kept.

So, I thought I was going to be staying in a Bally's room and instead they "bait and swithced" me to their connected Claridge hotel which in my opinion was sub-par.

Not happy and not impressed.

I booked at Bally's and was put in the Claridge. I realize,now, they are merged, however, I wanted to stay in the Bally's wing, but was not given an option. The person at check in was not very friendly. He did not explain that we would be in the Claridge, did not offer us direction as to how to get to our room, and seemed anxious for me to just get away from the counter. Thinking my room was in Bally's as I had booked, I spent 10 minutes trying to find the elevator to get to my room. After asking a security guard, I was told I was in the Claridge. Bally's/Claridge did not have the best service I have encountered, from the front desk to the hosts and servers in the restaurant. After 11pm, most restaurants were closed other than the "coffee shop" on the 6th floor. After finding it, we stood in line with about 8 other people while the hostess had her back turned to us erasing and re-writing on the specials board behind her podium. She ignored everyone in line, never saying hello, I'll be right with you etc... After nearly 10 minutes of being ignored, we left and went to another hotel/casino, and spent most of the rest of our stay at competing hotels/casinos that all seemed to appreciate us visiting them more than they did at Bally's/Claridge. The only plus was the walkway to get to Ceasars!
