very good location and would recommend this hotel to friends..but you must tell people how many words to write this is not school,..many people could write in less than 100 words...you could also make the checking dept more 2006 not 1945.also the parking area could use more light....you must install a soda machine//you must not have your guest walking across the street at midnight for a soda.inform guest where they could food.whether a nice restaurant or fast food..like mac-donalds etc...i will check to see what gifts you send me ........thanks again

There's WiFi, but the Signal is not enough in the room.
It's Okay to stay, Hotel looks old, could need some renovation, but was clean. Most likely okay if you don't stay all the time in the Hotel. It includes a "Deluxe Continental Breakfast" as it says, I wouldn't call some muffins, bagels and coffee a "Deluxe Continental Breakfast", but it's better than nothing. The location is nice, just right to the Tropicana and near to the boardwalk.

I title this weary because there were a few things wrong with this hotel/motel first was parking it was not large enough for my size car if I didn't get a spot on the end of the lot I had to park at the front of the hotel/motel and leave my key at the front desk. Second the stairways smelled like urine and to boot this is where the ice machines were located so needless to say we never used the ice machine although we wanted ice. Third there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling we mentioned this to two employees they said they will check it, if they did nothing was done during my stay. Forth the continental breakfast area is located where you check in, it was to small of an area and not well kept. I stated that I would not recommend this hotel/motel because of these things,I also said I might would stay again only if this is all I could afford on my next visit to Atlantic City. Signed Weary!!!

The only nice things I can say about this hotel is that it was cheap and the location was good - right next to Tropicana Hotel and one minute from the beach. Oh and the pool looked nice - but we didn't use it.
But the bad things made this my worst hotel experience I've ever had.
The staff were not very welcoming and not very helpful either. With no hairdryer in the room, I asked for one at the desk - the only one they had was being used and I was told to come back in half an hour. I did, but still no hairdryer, and no kind of apology.
I'm a tea drinker and was delighted to see tea bags at breakfast - but no water to make the tea with (I was told to put the tea bag in to the coffee!!)
Room was just okay - no hairdryer; microwave and two lights did not work, no answer when I tried to call down to the desk. Only two small towels to use and no bath mat.
Breakfast was awful - and served in the tiny reception area on a counter top (no tables/chairs.) On offer were Bagels, muffins or honey buns and coffee. Oh and tea bags!
If you just need a bed for the night - it's fine! Otherwise, steer clear!

This hotel is only good for it's location, right across from the Tropicana. Once we entered our room it had an overwhelming smell of curry. That wasn't very pleasant. Their bathroom was extremely tiny, the medicine cabinet would not close shut. Also the shower which was tiny, had a steady leaky faucet. And when we went to take a shower the floor easily got wet and slipper. The beds were decent and the mini fridge and t.v. worked fine.

The room was very old, not worth $113.00 plus tax. The website shows a different picture of the Ascot. When flushing the toilet, you could hear water running as though the room was going to flood. The bathroom was out dated and I was scared to sleep in the bed. I did not arrive until 2:30am, which they did allow me to check out at 1:pm but I needed more time to rest my nerves. All the money the Ascot has made, management should fix the rooms up.

The bed was fine. The motel needs to be updated. You could hear conversations on the street, sirens all night, because of the clubs/restaurants across the street, you can hear a lot of cursing when people leave them.

The motel is not really bad, It was a place that I needed for a one night stay. You sit down in the chairs, and you almost go straight to the floor, the microwave was not working, it did have a refrigerator, the tub did not look clean, it had water stains on the ceiling,the bathroom did not have any counter for your personal things.

This hotel is a dump!!!! The rooms are old,they have no light, and all the electricity is above your head encased in what looks like a baseboard heater cover. Water from a room above leaked into our room at 1 a.m. The bathroom is very old and the lighting is awful. We had to buy a blow dryer, which in most hotels is always a part of the bathroom. The towels were horrible. They were thin and scratchy like sandpaper. We had to ask the front desk everyday for towels because housekeeping only left us 2 per day. On the beach you are going to take more than one shower per day! The staff always gave you more--but you shouldn't have to ask everyday. One day our room was still not cleaned at 2:30 p.m. When the front desk was informed they sent housekeeping right away to clean. The front desk staff was helpful and polite and corrected whatever issue you had immediately. The hotel is just old and in need of major renovations and revamping. The rooms need more light and the standard amenities of most other hotels (eg: blow dryer, iron, ironing board). I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The first night we weren't that particularly impressed but after the maids cleaned up we were. What we liked the best was the pool and the fact we were minutes away from the boardwalk and all of the shops, casinos, etc. Next time we decide to plan a trip at Atlantic City there's a chance we might decide to pick the same place again. The price was very reasonable. We truly enjoyed our stay and we truly deserved it.

Price was OK for a Friday night in AC. Motel was clean. No room climate control-weak AC. Not enough towels, shower was weak, like a mist, instead if a steady flow. Lamp between beds was out due to no plug on that side of room; overloaded plugs on other side of room. When moved closer to an outlet on other side of room, bulb was burnt out. Mini frdge did not work.
Too much noise & commotion-traffic(located on a busy intersection)Other guests were loud at times & very little english was spoken.

This hotel is great if you like the trop, it is a 2 second walk. The pool was really nice and clean. The rooms were okay but who really cares when you are drunk anyway? Friendly staff and helpful. Definetly recommend to anyone going to AC for a good time and not concerned about what the rooms look like. It is unbelievable how awesome the location is to the tropicana and the beach. This hotel is in the perfect spot and I surprised more people don't go here. The only thing that was upsetting was that the price of the hotel is usually low but it was significantly high for memorial day weekend, but hey what can you expect... all hotels do it.

The room was clean, however the carpet was thin and the bathroom outdated. I had explained in my reservation that I was handicapped. The desk clerk had intended to put us on the third floor and there was no elevator. I had to remind him that I was unable to climb the stairs. The room on the first floor was unaccessable to a wheelchair had I been in one. The noise level was unacceptable. All in all not a pleasant experience, even though it is next door to the Tropicana and extremely affordable during the week
Next time I'll either stay further out or save up more money to stay at one of the casinos.

The hotel was at a great location but the amenities weren't that too great and the hotel rooms itself weren't that great either. I would stay here again because it was affordable and close to the boardwalk. However, I find this 100 words minimum to be quite irritating, especially when I said all that I had to say. So let's see what else I can mention. Hmmmmm.....well the front desk was quite friendly but there wasn't any toothpaste in the rooms and there were only 2 towels. How are we suppose to use 2 towels for the whole weekend? Also there was no vending machine that contained snacks, only water and soda, and there was no PORNO. Not even the porno that you can order. I think I hit enough words. Thank You!!! P.S. send me coupons and free room stay PLEASE!!!!!
