IT WAS A GREAT STAY. I LOVED THE BEACH AND THE INDOOR POOL. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREATER IF THERE WAS AN OUTSIDE POOL/BAR. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS BAD WAS THAT THERE WAS FOUR GIRLS IN ONE ROOM, AND WE HAD TO CALL ROOM SERVICE THREE TIMES FOR EXTRA TOWELS. THE RESTAURANTS WERE A BIT EXPENSIVE. THE BEACH WAS OKAY. IT WAS SO CLOSE TO THE MALL, WENT SHOPPING. WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME AT TRUMP PLAZA.

We had a room with a beautiful view of the ocean and loved it, although the walls were thin! The Beach Bar and the Water Bar were great hangouts for the night. Just watch out for the riff-raff in front of the hotel. When you walk out of the hotel you are right on the boardwalk and within walking distance of the amusement pier. Morton's Steakhouse is just across the street and I would highly recommend it for dinner. Be sure to get a player's card so you can get a free gift at check-in.

This hotel has a great location for shopping at both the Walk and the Pier. Max's Steakhouse has a great prix fix deal for a three course meal on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights (appetizer, soup or salad and a main course for $35 dollars, you can add a glass of wine for only $5 and a dessert for another $5). Our only frustration was the amount of time it took to get assistance when there was a problem with one of the slot machines.

The hotel was nice but could have used freshening up, namely the bathroom. The casino was great fun. We found the staff in the restaurant to be extremely courteous and helpful. The room itself was pretty clean but the grout around the tiles were dark with old soap scum and dirt. I totally forgot, the toilet was the worst toilet I have seen in my entire life! No fooling. The water pressure was so bad that it took at least 3 tries to flush toilet paper. Apparently it was to conserve water. We finally avoided using the washroom whenever possible.

The Trump Plaza is a hotel that exceeds expectations. I enjoyed my stay, and although I had two young children with me they did not feel left out. The hotel has a wonderful pool and atmosphere the is family and friendly oriented. The staff was very courteous and friendly at all times, meeting all my needs. Everyone went out there way too make myself and my family as comfortable as possible, assuring satisfaction at all times. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a wonderful time!!

This hotel was a very nice experience for me, I had never taken a vacation to a casino setting area, and i had a great time. i did not want to leave this place. I'm already planning to take another vacation with my whole family in the near future.
They would enjoy coming to your hotel, especially having a beach right in front.

The floor I was on had a wonderful view, the room was very nice and clean and security was very attentive, I felt very secured in this hotel.

The Front desk staff were amongst the rudest employees I have encountered in a hotel worldwide. The air conditioning in the hotel was so cold that even long pants and a sweater were not enough. When we asked if something could be done about the temperature, the staff rudely replied to "go get a jacket". I am from Canada and never would I have thought that a winter jacket was needed to visit Atlantic City in June! The room was o.k. but very unimpressive for the price. The pool was disgusting, the staff were impolite and unaccommodating, and the hotel was greatly out-dated. Very disappointing. I would never stay at the Trump Plaza Hotel again.

Unfortunately we were not very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. It did not appear to be cleaned very well, if at all, before our arrival. We asked a maid to look over it again. She was very kind, but only took some time to wipe over the bathroom floor again quickly. A clean room is very important to us, so although we were not completely unpleased with our stay, we would most likely not stay at this casino again.

Room was not ready,but front desk checked us in anyway, front desk never asked how was your stay. Housekeeper tapped on door in morning to clean even though room was paid for until noon. Not a pleasant experience. Staff should have some customer service education. It starts from the check in and then it can be a personable experience. I felt I was just a number going in and out of there. Unfortunately I will not be back to this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Trump Plaza and have to say I was not all that impressed. I guess I was expecting a lot more for my money after paying $400.00 for 1 night. Upon arrival, we had a little difficulty with the check-in. It was not confirmed on the check-in note whether the room had been paid for or not (despite the fact my credit card was charged almost instantaneously after making the reservation). However, the receptionist who helped us was excellent! She did a wonderful job of straightening out and explaining the issue as well as getting us settled into our room. Unfortunately, the next time I head into Atlantic City I am most definitely either going to stay at the Tropicana or the Showboat--- both were beautiful and I liked the atmosphere much better in comparison to the Trump. I was especially inpressed with the Showboat, they had a great casino, excellent restaurants/buffet and a lot of shopping. All in all, I had a great weekend. The next time I pay that much money for a hotel though, I want to come home and talk about it for days!

Trump Plaza was such a treat for me. One weekend my girlfriends and I decided to take a last minute trip to Atlantic City, not wanting to be rushed we decided to drive down. We were concerned about the price of and cleanliness of the accommodations being that the price was very affordable. To our surprise this place was glamorous nothing but the best and the staff made us feel as thought we were regulars.
The customer service check-out saw us later that day and she replied," I'm glad to see you are having a good time.
Theres nothing special about us, for her to remember us, that was a nice touch.

I am a world traveler and have had the opportunity to stay in some very nice places. My wife and I always enjoy visiting Atlantic City because the hotels and staff service are world class. The Trump properties are my preference because they are the first hotels I stayed when I visited Atlantic City some twenty years ago and because they are first class properties with the most convenient and tasty room service on the boardwalk. If you 're ever in Atlantic City and don't want to loose your shirt paying for a hotel but still want first class accommodations, the Trump Plaza and Taj Mahal are for you.
