I was excited to be staying at the Taj Mahal and even sucked up the outrageous room price(346) yes that was one night! Check in was good and was fast and easy that was nice, when we got to the room it was like any other room no better then a room at the Hampton Inn. What a let down that was. The best part of the room was that the concert we were attending was at the hotel. I guess that I was expecting a much nicer room for the money I paid.

We stayed at the Taj Mahal because of it's proximity to the beach. The beach was nice but but the flies were relentless so we left. Casino was nice, the lobby was seriously smokey and stale. Gross. No attention to bling in the lobby. Looked like a nice Holiday inn. Location of hotel was too far away from the retail shops further down the strip. Overall very mediocre won't be back, sorry Donald....not your best work. By the way restaurants super expensive !!!!

I paid more to stay at this hotel compared to those located in the middle of the boardwalk. I wasted my money and my time. I gambled and ate elsewhere everyday. The pool area was dirty, the room service took over an hour and a half for delivery, the sheets were ripped and dirty, and there were few options for entertainment during the week. Overall the hotel did not cater to the young professional. Also, by booking through this website I did not qualify for the additional cash back bonus offered through my credit card. My suggestion would be to stay elsewhere and book through another site.

15 years ago, my husband and I had just got married. We passed by the Taj Mahal and I got attracted by the lights on the outside of the casino but we'd just got married then and had no money to stay at the fancy hotel like that, so my husband had made a promise to me that if we come back again and we will stay here. Well, after all these years he fulfilled the promise to me, but I'm just surprised by it. You have to pay for the internet service and the pool is not very appealing the hot tubs outside is located on the top of the roof area, beside the air conditioners. Not good at all!!! I am very disappointed with it after all these years. For the same amount of money, I would stay in the Borgata or the Harrahs because they are new and you will be attracted by the grand entrance.

Enjoyed my stay, can't wait to come back and visit again an to stay longer. It was my wife and I 16th wedding anniversary an wanted to take her somewhere romantic without the kids. I never had a vacation during the summer months an I saw the opportunity to take it, so I went online purchased my reservations arrived on Monday afternoon without any delays an to my surprise when I open the room door I couldn't believe the beauty of the room clean roomy bathroom was great overall it was a well laid back atmosphere with especially with the casinos down stairs. I was on the 47th floor and my view was great!

I was very impressed with the hotel accommodations but disappointed with the table prices on Saturday nights. I had to go to other casinos to get a better deal to play. I would have spent most of my casino time at the hotel if the prices were more reasonable. During these hard times not everyone can afford such high prices to entertain themselves.

I also went to the other area hotels for shows because I didn't see many advertisements on the entertainment available at the hotel. My recommendation is to give all personnel checking in a list of shows available in the hotel during their stay.

The hotel room was out dated. I stayed quite a few years ago and it looks like it's been twenty years since it's been updated. It really needs re-painting outside. The food needs upgrading too. The band in the lounge was the best. The room could have been much better. The TV only had one premium channel (HBO) The television was the newest thing in the room. I had a great time playing tournament and cash game poker. Tournaments and tables are around taking place around the clock and I could enjoy playing Poker nearly 24h (I also had to sleep some hours). Professional dealers. Very nice personnel. A must to come back. Strongly recommended for people who love Poker and are just amateurs. I just missed that Sit & Gos are not organized. Otherwise my first experience at a casino was just great. The Taj Mahal offered everything from food, coffee, huge swimming pool, parking, etc.

My stay at the Tah Mahal was amazing. The room was very big and clean. The bed was comfortable and the the view was amazing. The service was so good everyone was very helpful and nice. From the minute I drove up to the Taj Mahal I was amazed. It has the nicest entrance I have seen. Bright lights, big elephants,and huge water fountains. Its a great place to take pictures! There's great places to eat and shop inside the hotel.There's even a nightclub downstairs! There's always shows going on and the casino is always a great place to spend your time. Right on the boardwalk with a great view of the beach is something you definitely cant beat. One thing I cant forget is the elevator ride. It was one of the quickest elevators I have been in with a glass wall allowing you to see the view as you go up and down. Room service was great the room was great the casino is a bit cold but free drinks help! Over all I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to have a great get away weekend including fun relaxation and gambling!

The room was great, spacious, clean, bright,and relaxing. We had a great time at the casino. The staff was friendly and the environment made it hard to call it a night. The food in the hotel was delicious and affordable, I would definitely dine at Plate again. The only down fall I experienced was the clothing stores are targeted to an older crowd. Over all, the time spent in the Taj Mahal was a great time. I would definitely stay again!

It was really a nice visit as i was far from home and got sick and we had to leave a day early asked to get my card credit for not staying two days they said they would but i have yet to see my money back it really sucks to get sick but to loose your money because you had to leave is terrible we drove all the way down there from Virginia and the next morning had to go all the way back home hope to here something soon or I will never return.

The hotel was great. However, my wife & I are disabled, using a wheelchair & a walker, and the bathroom, especially the tub/shower was very difficult. There was no hand shower, the faucet was very difficult to adjust the water temperature. Also, I don't understand why a handicapped room is located so far from the bank of elevators. Most occupants of a handicapped accessible room have mobility problems.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the Taj Mahal. The rooms were extremely clean, room service was great. Employees were very friendly and helpful. A lot of restaurants to choose from and the casino was huge. The only complaint I can think of is how cold they keep the rooms and the hotel-its an ice box. When we checked in our room was set to 60 degrees- and everywhere you go including the elevator banks were freezing. Other than that it was excellent.
