It was VERY clean and looked brand new. I think it had just had renovations although it claimed to be their "grand opening". Nothing at all was wrong with the room, just the location. It was right off a busy highway, and worse yet, our room was the closest to the busy street in the front of the building. There was a spotlight shining thru our window ALL NIGHT LONG. The inn was not crowded at all, so I'm not sure why we were stuck in this particular room. It would've been much more disappointing had we spent more actual time in the room, but seeing as we were in Atlantic City to gamble, we came back to the inn at a wee hour in the morning and then got up early and left. We really only needed a bed to sleep in for a few hours and The Country Hearth Inn & Suites did fulfill its job for that reason. I would NOT recommend the inn for anything other then a quick nights rest. Its just a nice, clean roadside motel.
