Trump New Taj Mahal Tower : The Chairman Tower

Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort is about to inaugurate its new tower by September 2008. It will be called The Chairman Tower, after Donald J. Trump, who is the company’s chairman of the board. The new tower was constructed with a strategic investment of around $225 million. In order to accommodate additional new customers they upgraded their facilities and expanded the capacity of the Hotel. The architecture of the tower was designed to create ocean and bay views from nearly every vantage point.

There are 782 guest rooms in the new tower, including 74 suites and 708 guest rooms. Four of the rooms will be luxurious suites and are similar to ‘The Penthouse Suites’ at the Taj Mahal. To offer elegant interior and a luxurious residential experience for the guests during their stay, the rooms are designed to have more space with high ceiling and modern bathrooms. The rooms are fully furnished and every room will be featured with hi-definition Plasma television, iPod(R) docking station, a refrigerator, a safe-vault and high speed wireless internet.

The new tower is constructed with three meeting spaces with expensive facilities in luxurious surroundings and is available for all occasions. Moreover the two towers are connected via the Spice Road level which will make it easy for the guests to access the front desk and parking area available in the existing tower. The Casino and restaurant will offer a contemporary stay for the guests comparable to the best in Atlantic City including the Borgata. Also about two hundred new staff were recruited to serve the guests. Reservations for the New Taj Mahal tower opened in August 2008.

The New Taj would be a perfect place to stay for the business and leisure travellers in Atlantic City. Atlantic City is growing with each passing month and the more luxuirious places that we keep adding, the more diverse the tourist base is likely to get. Atlantic City may just regain its lost momentum from the economic slowdown due to the attraction from these new hotels and casinos.

The Famous Atlantic City Air Show – “Thunder Over the Boardwalk”

Many newspapers and postcards have described the Atlantic City’s Air Show over the years. Since 2003, the annual Air Show has been held over the Atlantic City Boardwalk every August. In the early history of aviation, Atlantic City played a major role. The meets were organized on the sea shore. This year as well, Leading aviators took part in the event and made the day very colourful and exciting. Did you know that Atlantic City’s Air Show is the largest beach front air show in the world?

Atlantic City’s sixth annual Air Show was sponsored and organized by the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa and was held on August 20, 2008. This year’s event was called “Thunder over the Boardwalk”, quite appropriately so, since the noise from the low altitude of high-speed aircraft manoeuvres deafens the Boardwalk at times. The events like manoeuvres, formation flying and solo routines of military and civilian pilots have made the Air Show a very popular event at Atlantic City that people travel from far and near to attend. This week usually sees close to a 15% surge in visitors to Atlantic City, a much needed spike amidst the economic slowdown that has kept matters rather calm at Atlantic City this year. Many people grabbed spots on the beach Tuesday afternoon to catch a glimpse of pilots flying high. Around four hundred thousand spectators were gathered on the Beach and Boardwalk of Atlantic City for the show.

The entire show was broadcast on WOND 1400 AM radio and was enlightening for the crowd as information about the pilots and the planes and their performances was read out to them. This year’s show included the U.S. Navy’s F-18 Super Hornets, the F-16 CJ Vipers from the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights Parachute Team and the U.S. Coast Guard search and rescue demonstrations. The world’s most talented pilots took part in this event and flew up to 15,000 feet and as low as 50 feet over the ocean.

The crowd really enjoyed the stunts. There isn’t very many casino towns that can boast of an ocean-front and even fewer that host an Air Show. If you were at the party on the beach, you witnessed a very unique event. One of those thousands of little things that keep us in love with Atlantic City for over 15 years now !

Red Square – For Vodka Lovers In Atlantic City

Red Square, famous for its red velvet seats with casual elegant dining has long been a local favourite at the Pacific avenue at Atlantic City. It is known for its spacious interiors and a more authentic Atlantic city ambiance than the first Red Square which started in the Mandalay Bay resort.

It has all the regular bells and whistles that one would expect from a high end bar, like hotel parking, private party rooms, wheel chair access, late night dinner and so on. The bar is very popular for its frozen vodkas and contains 175 different brands of frozen vodkas, which have preserved at -30 degrees. Their private rooms can accommodate about 50 people, unlike the 15-25 that most other bar private rooms in town do. The customers are provided with fur coats to warm themselves up when served with frozen vodka. They accept most common modes of payment such as AMEX, Diners club, Master card and Visa. Red Square has a dramatically themed restaurant for large parties. Saturday nights are presented with dance and cocktails and bottle services are available around the dance floor.

The bartender dresses up in cool business casual attire. The cuisines available are Continental and Russian. Too many varieties of vodka are available all day. One can enjoy musical frozen vodkas in this bar made of ice. The restaurant is open on every weekday. Reservations are recommended for dinner. The bar provides a sophisticated setting, ideal for luxury parties, bachelor and bachelorrett parties. If you are a Vodka lover, you will want to check Red Square out on your next trip to Atlantic City.
